I had my rhinoplasty done 2 months ago with Dr. Golden.

Here is my detailed report why I chose Dr. Golden over other TOP DOCs out there.

After extensive 6-month research I selected Dr. Golden based on the following criteria.

1. SPEAKING TO REAL PATIENTS
   I was not going to proceed with any doc until I speak to his patients. There is no better testimonial for a rhino doc than a HAPPY PATIENT… I spoke to a woman who was done by Dr. Golden 7 years ago. She was very pleased with Dr. Golden’s surgery and is still very happy with her nose even AFTER 7 YEARS….
   
   Second patient I talked to was a young lady who was done a few months ago. She stated all the details re: her first rhinoplasty and was very pleased with the results.
   
   Another girl I spoke to was done recently. No pain, no problems, excellent breathing after the surgery and she was thrilled with her results.

2. CONSULTATION and PORTFOLIO
   I submitted my photos to Dr. Golden. He reviewed the photos and called me personally to discuss all the details what can and cannot be done. My primary concerns were as follows: removing hump on the bridge, shortening my long profile, making the tip less “bulky”, correcting my breathing problem, having a straight nose instead of crooked nose…After discussing all the details over the phone he provided me with so many details and gave me such confidence based on his expertise that I was SOLD. His knowledge based on so many years of experience was very impressive. Out of all the docs I consulted with, he gave me the most detailed explanation. I was ready to fly to TROY …The Drury Inn located 5 minutes from Dr. Golden’s office is a clean and affordable hotel with extremely friendly staff. Free shuttle to Dr. Golden’s office and free Internet made my life easier while staying there for a week.
   
   I arrived to Troy on Monday morning and went straight to Dr. Golden’s office.
   I was greeted by Lisa – very friendly and professional young lady… I finally met Dr. Golden in person. He observed my nose from all angles and discussed my nose concerns again to make sure that we are both on the same page. He demonstrated in front of the mirror what will be done and why it has to be done this way. I agreed with Dr. Golden and was ready to proceed. In addition, I saw his very impressive portfolio….
   His work is amazing!

   I felt that I am in the best possible hands - GOLDEN HANDS…
   I stayed in the office for the rest of the day to see more post-op patients coming in.  To see ACTUAL PATIENTS before my surgery was THE BEST TESTIMONIAL for me.
   Seeing the amazing results was the ticket to proceed with Dr. Golden on Wednesday – my surgery day.
   
   I was totally amazed when I saw this 20-year old girl who was done by Dr. Golden only 2 weeks. No bruises, not even swollen nose just a beautiful delicate nose. When I saw her “before” pictures I WAS SHOCKED how her long ethnic nose was transformed to a small beautiful delicate profile. That girl looked like a MOVIE STAR!!!
   I said to Dr. Golden that I want to look like her…haha!
   
   Another woman I saw and spoke to was a lady from Colorado who flew to see Dr. Golden. She had TWO rhinos done before by other docs and ended with densed nose tip (the material was missing in the tip… it looked like a dent in a car in her photo)
   When she showed me her “before” photos I couldn’t believe how perfect the nose tip looked after Dr. Golden corrected the problem.
   In her case, it took THREE SURGERIES to have the nose she always wanted.

3. AFFORDABLE RATES comparing  with other TOP DOCs…
   I called about 20 TOP DOCS and most of these docs charge anywhere from $8,000-$12,000 for the FIRST rhino and more for second revision etc.. They also charge consultation fees. The most shocking thing to me was that these docs will NOT show you any photos of their work to “protect” their patients privacy. WHAT AN EXCUSE! If they took photos of their patients and covered their eyes, the privacy issue would be resolved instantly and all of us would be able to see their actual work. They will NOT allow you to talk to any of their patients either.
   I was shocked when I found out through the Internet that people pay $12,000 without seeing the doc’s actual photos. Unbelievable!
   A doc in fine ARMANI SUIT does NOT work for me… TALKING TO REAL PATIENTS and SEEING THEIR PHOTOS works for me.
   
   MY PERSONAL ADVISE - NEVER PROCEED with a doc that does NOT show his work. They are afraid to show their TERRIBLE RESULTS and therefore they have all these “patient privacy” EXCUSES.
   Talking to Dr. Golden’s real patients made my decision 100% easier …
    
   Dr. Golden charges $7,800 for the FIRST RHINO surgery and second or third surgery fees are based on complexity of the surgery. He could easily charge $12,000 like the “thieves” in Manhattan with his EXTRAORDINARY SKILLS but he wants to be available to all of us not just the rich and famous…His fees may vary based on each individual case.
   
   My surgery was done on Wednesday morning and it took over 3 HOURS for Dr. Golden to achieve our desired goal.
   According to Dr. Barek – one of the docs I consulted with – he was going to correct the same problems in ONE HOUR…Thank God I did NOT proceed with him!
    
   Dr. Golden is a PERFECTIONIST…He doesn’t rush through the surgery. He takes his time. He analyzes the nose from all different angles until it looks superior. He works EXTREMELY HARD. Day after day he sees so many patients who fly from all over the U.S. to consult with him... 
   
   3-HOUR SURGERY done by Dr. Golden resulted in a BEAUTIFUL NOSE that matches my face.  My nose looks very NATURAL and DELICATE…The most amazing thing was that after the surgery when I opened my eyes I did NOT even have a headache… My nose was swollen, the tip felt numb and all the bandages on my nose made me look like a winning boxing champ but I did not feel any pain. I couldn’t believe how easy the surgery was for me. I was taken to the Drury Inn. I got “anti-infection” pills and painkillers from Dr. golden but took only anti-infection pills since I did not have any pain. I brought the painkillers pills home as my SOUVENIR…haha
   
   Every day after the surgery I took the shuttle to Dr. Golden’s office for “cleanup” and new bandages. Over the weekend Dr. Golden called me to make sure that I am doing fine. He really cares about his patients well being.
   On Monday was my final checkup. Everything looked good.  I said goodbye to Dr. Golden and his friendly staff and flew back home. My boyfriend saw the improvement right away even with a bandage on my nose.
   He said it looks GREAT… VERY NATURAL … MORE DELICATE…
   I had no problem showering. I touched my nose very gently with mild CETAPHIL. I also used cold camomile tea after washing my face to heal the skin.
   After one month, I felt like I had never had a surgery. 
    
   2 month later my nose looks great - less swollen - the tip feels better every day…a little numbness on the right side of the tip but after nature takes its course, it will be totally numb-free. NO PAIN whatsoever touching my nose!!!
   
   Dr. Golden called me once a week for the past 2 month to make sure that my nose is healing fine and my breathing is great…He takes great care of his patients.
   
   MY BREATHING IS TEN TIMES BETTER NOW than it was before the surgery.
   My crooked nose preventing air from coming in is perfectly straight.
   My skin looks fresher and younger from all the extra air I am getting now…haha!
   
   The funny part is that none of my friends could tell that I had rhinoplasty surgery done because it looks so natural…They told me that I look GREAT – YOUNGER after not seeing me for almost 2 month.
