My nose still looks the same as it did on day 7. But now that I am back home in my comfortable bed, I feel soooooo much better=). I'm not taking anymore painkillers but am still taking my antibiotics.
* random tip: pack light and bring only a few pair of clothes you feel really comfortable in. I packed 10 pairs of clothes but only worn like 4, lol. bring long sleeves shirts, pants, and some socks . It gets chilly there. It was raining and about 50 degrees when I left chicago on sunday may 11. BRing a pillow with you on your surgery date, that way you can hug it while on the ride home, it should help with the pain especially those bumps on the road. and bring a camera to take your pictures for documentation and comparison purposes.
